Shakespeare Sports is excited to partner with organizations for Hunter Heartbeat inspired interactive theatre and workshops that serve the I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) community. Games in scenes from As You Like It, Tempest, Pericles and Midsummer Nights Dream for both in person and virtual programming.

About - The Why and What is Important to Shakespeare Sports
What is important to Shakespeare Sports is giving Parents and Caregivers of children who are on the autism spectrum a place for social enrichment programs where the child or young adult will be able to stretch and grow through Hunter Heartbeat.
Our Process and Plays
We start with the Heartbeat Hellos, a warm up activity for connection and relaxation and learning Iambic Pentameter. There are social activities, language development exercises from the modeling of scenes for class or group member participation.
Shakespeare Sports gave an in person interactive show for the first time in 2022 in a Hunter Heartbeat Midsummer Nights Dream. In addition we’ve worked on Tempest, Pericles and Original Hunter Heartbeat As You Like It. Virtual or in person upon request.
